Welcome to the 2007-2008 Louie (ADDY) Awards Competition online resource section. The theme of this year's 34th Louie Awards is "Louie XXXIV: It's an awards show.". This is your opportunity to showcase your most ingenious and excellent work for the year and compete against your colleagues for a prestigious Gold or Silver ADDY Award.

Entering Online Is Easy!

It's simple to enter. First, enter your work in the convenient online system (see the top link called Enter Here) and print out the appropriate documents as specified in the Call for Entries rules. Second, physically deliver your work (with the correct entry forms and manifest packet) to the Log-Ins on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at the Advertising Federation of Louisville offices, 200 Distillery Commons, Ste. 100 (corner of Lexington Road and Payne St.).

The online entry system allows you flexibility to enter all your work now OR enter some now and then enter some more later. When you sign up on the online system, you will get a username and password that will allow you to continually update your account and manifest form until you're ready to print it out and bring it to Log-Ins. You must create a new account each year.

Call for Entries!

Look for your Call for Entries in the mail. It contains all the information you'll need to enter the Louie competition. While we abide by the national ADDY competition requirements, we do also have some rules specific to our members. A copy of our Call for Entries information can also be downloaded from here by clicking on the button at the top of the page.

Log-Ins!

This year's Log–Ins will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Advertising Federation of Louisville offices, 200 Distillery Commons, Ste. 100 (corner of Lexington Road and Payne St.). You must bring your work with your completed entry form attached per the directions, your printed manifest form packet with copies of all entry forms, the digital images CD, your District or National Forwarding forms (see the top buttons), and your payment to Advertising Federation of Louisville on the day of Log-Ins.

Log-In Checklist!

All Entries Must …

1. Meet all eligibility and deadline requirements.
2. Be entered in the correct category.
3. Be correctly identified.
4. Conform to defined mounting and submission requirements.
5. Conform to all copyright laws.
6. Include a complete and signed entry form.

All Entrants Must …

1. Register all entries online at www.louisvilleadfed.org (See Louies button.)
2. Generate Manifest Form Packet during online registration. This Manifest Form Packet includes:
   1. Manifest Form – A list of all entries submitted.
   2. Copy of each entry form
   3. Signed Fifth District Forwarding Form
   4. Signed National Forwarding Form
3. Include a digital file (pdf or jpeg) of each print/interactive entry on a labeled CD. These images will be used in the Winners' Book and the video if the piece wins.
4. Physically deliver all entries, with entry form attached, to the AdFed offices, on Wednesday, January 9 between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
5. Bring payment with entries.

Awards!

New this year, all Gold ADDY winners will automatically be forwarded to the Fifth District ADDY Awards with fees paid for by Advertising Federation of Louisville.

A signed request, called the Fifth District Competition Forwarding Form, which can be found on the Advertising Federation of Louisville web site (www.louisvilleadfed.org) MUST accompany each entry that the entrant wishes to forward to the district competition if it wins a Silver ADDY® on the local level. Fees are $70 for members and $85 for non-members and will be billed to the party designated on the form. Should the entry win Gold again at District level, it will be forwarded to the national competition with fees paid by the District.

If your entry is awarded a Silver ADDY® at the local or District level, you have won the right to compete at the next level of competition and may choose to pay the applicable entry fee in order to be forwarded. (That fee is $100.) Make sure you check the “auto-forward” box during your online registration, indicating that you wish to be billed for the corresponding forwarding entry fees. This will ensure your Silver entries are automatically forwarded to the next level of competition. Also, a signed request, called the National Competition Forwarding Form, which can be found on the Advertising Federation of Louisville web site (www.louisvilleadfed.org) MUST accompany each entry that the entrant wishes to forward to the national competition if it wins a Fifth District Citation of Excellence.
