Job Description: WLKY has an immediate opening in our Sales Department for a National Sales Assistant. Individual will work closely with the National Sales Manager to ensure effective placement of national sales activity. This person will also share in assisting the regional\local sales team. Job Responsibilities: • Process national TV, internet and mobile orders. • Communicate daily with national sales representatives and advertising agencies across the country. • Develop a thorough understanding of Nielsen ratings, One Domain, Kantar and other research tools. • Expertly utilize programs such as Wide Orbit, Station Xpress, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. • Assist in the development of sales proposals, advertising packages and client presentations. • Assist with political, paid programming and direct response advertising. • Keep progress tabs on various sales initiatives. Qualifications Requirements: • Prior administrative experience preferred • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. • Must be highly-focused and organized. • Consistently meet deadlines in a challenging and dynamic environment. • Work cooperatively with managers, co-workers and clients to deliver a high-level of service. • Capable of learning new systems promptly and thoroughly. • Must take pride in work, respond to instruction well, thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working independently and perform at a consistently high-level. Education: • Bachelors or related degree preferred
