Job Description
Responsibilities:
Individual will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Louisville Free Public Library Foundation’s web site and social media, including Facebook and Twitter; researching and writing articles; creating and managing contact lists for monthly email communications; photographing and/or videotaping library and Library Foundation events; and performing other duties as required. The internship includes the opportunity to learn about fundraising and non-profit marketing in the context of social media as well as working with leading social-media specialists.
Skills:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal); proficiency in social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and blogging; experience using email campaign software, such as Mail Chimp, preferred.
