YPAL seeks a graphic design intern to assist the organization with brand management through creative and professional design both in print and on the web. The intern will work in association with the Vice President of Public Relations, Director of Communications and Director of Technology to fulfill the organization’s graphic design needs. Some tasks may include: • Create institutional branding standards for all design • Create organizational ads for print and web advertisements • Create event-specific web banner ads for use on the YPAL website and in the Weekly Update e-newsletter • Design YPAL member & corporate sponsor information packets • Design YPAL membership brochures and other marketing material • Update the website design and layout for increased functionality • Post event banner graphics, user support and other web maintenance as needed • Other graphic and web tasks as assigned

Job Requirements • Work 10 – 15 hours from the YPAL office located in downtown Louisville • Attend Communications Committee meetings and Tech Committee meetings when available • Access to Adobe Creative Suite software • Report to YPAL’s Partnership Relations Manager with the guidance of Director of Communications, Director of Technology and Vice President of Public Relations.
