Event Description

Join us as we celebrate the 2012 Louisvillian of the Year, George Fischer. Well known as a business icon, having once been named Entrepreneur of the Year by Inc. Magazine, George continues to use his leadership and development skills to better the lives of others in the city he loves. His civic contributions include board responsibilities for the University of Louisville, Jewish Hospital, Belle of Louisville, Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority, Thomas Merton Foundation, School Choice Scholarships and the Cathedral Heritage Foundation. Most recently, his support and involvement led to the opening of the Family Community Clinic in Butchertown. Classified as a non-profit corporation, the clinic is staffed by volunteers from the medical profession. The clinic's mission is to improve the health of the uninsured in Louisville by providing high-quality, free primary healthcare services and wellness education to those in need. / Reserved seating available for tables of 8 or 10. For individual or table reservations, call 502-895-2500.
